The Razor Claw is an Evolution Item in Pokemon Legends: Arceus primarily used to evolve the Fighting- and Poison-type Hisuian Sneasel into Sneasler. While Sneasler serves as a useful Mount for scaling mountains across the Hisui region, this tall Free Climb Pokémon is also an excellent fighter. More specifically, Sneasler wields 130 Attack and 120 Speed, making it a deadly opponent in the right circumstances. Therefore, whether Trainers are trying to complete their Hisuian Pokédex or obtain a superior Fighting-type brawler for their team, then knowing how to acquire the Razor Claw for Hisuian Sneasel is a must.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus offers four primary sources by which Trainers can procure a Razor Claw for their Sneasel:
- Trading Post
- Ginter
- Space-Time Distortions
- Wild Sneasels
The first and most straightforward method is by purchasing the Evolution Item from the Trading Post for 1,400 Merit Points. Unlike the three remaining sources, this approach for obtaining a Razor Claw is the most reliable.
The second way to get a Razor Claw in Pokémon Legends: Arceus would be by doing business with Ginter, who can be found outside the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village. Ginter will occasionally offer an item he refers to as the “Mystery Claw” for 10,000 Poke Dollars. This cost can be quite a hefty investment for some players, depending on where they are in their playthrough. However, keep in mind that this peddler’s special offerings are randomized and change continuously. Therefore, relying on Ginter as a means to get the Razor Claw is not very ideal.
The third method for acquiring Razor Claws in Pokemon Legends: Arceus is by clearing the Space-Time Distortions that occur randomly across Hisui. While these events are almost always worthwhile to participate in, their item drops are random. Therefore, similar to Ginter, these events are not a good source of Razor Claws.
Finally, the fourth approach to farm Razor Claws in Arceus is by catching Wild Sneasels. The best location to do this activity would be the small lake between the Boulderoll Ravine and Celestica Trail in the Coronet Highlands. If Trainers catch all the Sneasels in the area and refresh the spawn by resting at camp, they will eventually accumulate multiple claws.
