Obtaining copies of a character in Wuthering Waves is not a waste since you can get permanent buffs for that unit. While you can gain most Resonators from the Gacha banners, the protagonist is a little special. In order to unlock Rover’s Resonance Chain, you must get his Waveband by completing certain activities in Wuthering Waves. Some of them are locked behind main missions, while others require you to gather special objects when exploring Solaris-3.

Similar to the Traveler from Genshin Impact, Rover can also wield several elements. This means that you need to gather unique Rover’s Wavebands to unlock each respective Resonance Chain in Wuthering Waves.

Here’s how you can obtain all of Rover’s Spectro Waveband in Wuthering Waves:

  • Ominous Star main quest
  • Clashing Blades main quest
  • Casket Delivery level 5
  • Guidebook Milestone level 6

Since the game is just recently out, all of Spectro Rover’s Resonance Chain has yet to become unlockable. So far, you can only get four Spectro Wavebands. Two of them are from main missions, while one can be obtained via Casket Delivery.

You can unlock new levels by delivering Resonance Caskets to Chenpi in Jinzhou. These rare artifacts appear as glowing cubes that are scattered around Solaris-3. You can also obtain one Spectro Waveband by completing various Guidebook Milestone missions.

Here is the full list of activities that grant Havoc Wavebands:

  • Grand Warstorm main quest
  • Casket Delivery level 8

You will unlock Havoc Rover at the end of the Jinzhou chain quest, so you can only obtain two Wavebands for now. The game will give one directly after you complete the Grand Warstorm missions, while the second Waveband is locked behind Casket Delivery level 8.

You must change Rover’s element via the Attribute Details screen when you want to access each version of Resonance Chain. Here are the steps:

  1. Open the main menu.
  2. Select the Resonators option.
  3. Click the double arc arrow button.
  4. Choose your Rover element.

Once you’ve picked the right element, you can go to the Resonance Chain screen. If you have the appropriate Rover’s Waveband, there will be a red icon that shows which Resonance Chain skill you can unlock. Like other Resonators, Rover also has six Resonance levels that grant them permanent buffs.
