In a rural town where ghosts roam the streets, you’d think that running your very own bathhouse would be the least of your worries. Nevertheless, in Cheesemaster Games’ latest cozy management sim, you’ll come across plenty of otherworldly spirits who’ll need a little help to put them to rest. As a result, you may be wondering how to get and use Sakura Blossom in Spirittea. Here’s everything you need to know.

How to Obtain Sakura Blossom

(Updated on September 25, 2024 – updated links and format)

Thankfully, acquiring Sakura Blossom in Spirittea is quite straightforward. In fact, as soon as Jan has finished introducing the town to you, and after you’ve spoken to Moby and placed your writing desk in your house, you can go ahead and obtain the ingredients when you’re ready.

Specifically, Sakura Blossom can be found underneath the Sakura Tree in the northeastern corner of the map. For context, this is just east of the bathhouse. We’ve marked the exact location on the map below:

Once you arrive here, walk over the stepping stones in the stream and you’ll find a Sakura Blossom beneath the Sakura Tree. Do note, however, that they only spawn once every few days. If there isn’t one available, return the next day and you’ll likely be in luck. For the unaware, they appear like a small handful of pink leaves (as highlighted in the image below).

What Is Sakura Blossom Used for?

In short, Sakura Blossom is an ingredient that can be used to craft a Purifying Elixir. To create a Purifying Elixir, you’ll also need White Rice and Rice Wine, which you can purchase from the Convenience Store. These special items can be used to clean up the bathhouse after an Onishi has made a mess.
