Sons Of The Forest is the latest multiplayer survival horror game causing a buzz and with good reason. It drops you right into the action following a crash. You are forced quickly to learn how to survive in this dangerous area whether you are alone or with friends. One of the necessary things you need to do is to find water. Without a steady supply, you’ll find yourself in danger more often than not. So, we’ll show you the various ways you can get water in Sons Of The Forest.
How to Find Water in Sons Of The Forest
Thanks to its Early Access release on Steam, players are jumping into the thrilling experience of Sons Of The Forest. If you have never played something like this before, such as The Forest, another incredible survival game from the makers of this one, then you may struggle at first. Even though it is not beginner-friendly, the learning curve isn’t too steep once you know what to do.
First things first, though: you must find water in Sons Of The Forest. Water directly relates to your stamina. When you’re thirsty, you won’t run as fast or be able to accomplish much. Sprinting is also necessary in this game, as you don’t know what awaits you in the wilderness.
Although you crash land on the beach, you obviously cannot use ocean water as your water source. So, you will want to head inland. In fact, you can bring up your GPS by pressing M. Once up, take a close look to see where the bodies of water are. Once you reach fresh water, you can satisfy your thirst in Sons Of The Forest.
Simply interact with the water by pressing E. If it is not working for you, you are probably holding onto a weapon. Try pressing G to hide your equipped weapon and see if you can drink the water.

Does Sons of The Forest Have Multiplayer? Answered
In the beginning, you won’t have any sort of containers to gather a lot of water. Until then, consider setting up camp close by. This way, if you are ever in a pinch, you can quickly rush over and get a drink of water in Sons Of The Forest.
There is an alternative to satisfying your thirst though. Search the woods for Yarrow, a white plant. Consuming the plant will raise your thirst bar. You can also gather these. So, they are a good backup plan if you can’t make it to water in time.
Sons Of The Forest is currently in Early Access via Steam.
