If you want exclusive winter loot in Monster Hunter: World, you’ll need to get your hands on Winter Star Tickets. These seasonal items can only be obtained in a couple of special ways, so how to acquire them may not be obvious. These tickets are essential for crafting certain winter-themed gear, including the incredibly cute Palico Snow Set. Whether you’re a hardcore completionist trying to unlock every outfit Capcom has to offer, or you just want some cozy new threads for your Palico, these tickets are the way to go. Here’s the fastest way to get Winter Star Tickets in MHW.
Monster Hunter: World Winter Star Tickets Guide
There are two ways to get Winter Star Tickets in Monster Hunter: World. The first way is to receive them as a daily login reward. That’s right, you’ll get Winter Star Tickets just for logging in. That means the first step in grabbing this elusive material is to make sure you show up during the winter event. There’s no real way to speed this part of the process up, but at least collecting your daily login rewards only requires minimal effort.
The second way to get a Winter Star Ticket in MHW is to complete quests. Not every hunting expedition drops tickets as a reward, however. You’ll need to complete special daily bounties instead. Here’s what you need to do:
- Visit the Resources Center
- Navigate to the “Limited” bounties menu
- Accept the limited bounties that display Winter Star Tickets as a reward
- Complete the bounties
- Claim your bounties and accept your Winter Star Tickets.
These bounties change every day, so be sure to look for new ones every time you log in during the Fest. Whether it’s Field Research, an Ecology Survey, or a general bounty, the reward will be Winter Star Tickets. If you want the layered Orion Armor Set and Felyne Snowcat Suit, you’ll need a number of these tickets, so be sure to grab every limited-time bounty available. Note that the layered Orion Set, like other layered outfits, only changes your character’s cosmetics, not their stats. That means you can rock this wintery apparel without sacrificing any of the bonuses you’ve done so much slaying and crafting to acquire.
Monster Hunter: World is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
