As we said, the Dragon Egg is a very rare item in Minecraft, as it only spawns once per world. Once you get it, you can start showing it off to your friends, as it is proof of your strength and courage. But first, you have to go a long way looking around the world for the End Portal and defeating the Ender Dragon.

She, without a doubt, is one of the strongest mobs in Minecraft. But players have already found dozens of ways to defeat the Ender Dragon with zero damage. And after the death of this boss, you can find the Dragon Egg at the top of the Exit Portal.

The Dragon Egg is a great trophy that is pretty hard to pick up if you don’t know a couple of tricks. However, this Egg is not only a decorative item. Players can also use it to spawn an Ender Dragon.

So, to hatch the Dragon Egg in Minecraft, you don’t even need to move it from the Bedrock Portal. This place is great for hatching. However, in addition to the Dragon Egg, you will need 4 End Crystals, which you must place around the Egg.

Each Crystal can be crafted from 7 Glass Blocks, Ghast Tear, and Eye of Ender. And after you craft 4 End Crystals, you must return to the Dragon Egg in the End. Place End Crystals on the bedrock on each side of the Dragon Egg. It’s also worth noting that each End Crystal should be placed in the middle of each side of the portal, not at the corners. And as soon as you place the last Crystal, the Ender Dragon will respawn, and you will be able to repeat your legendary battle.

That’s all you need to know about how to hatch a Dragon Egg in Minecraft. It is the only way you can use Dragon Egg, but unfortunately, it works only in the End.

Minecraft is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
