Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the newest sequel to the popular Pokemon franchise. It brings new maps, Pokemon, features, and even a new type of Raid battle called the Tera Raid. Tera Raid Battles are fun but can also be challenging to win. Since many are aiming to get the best score in these instances, a good strategy to get as many stars as possible is crucial. This guide will show you how to increase Tera Raid battle Stars in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

What Are Tera Raid Battle Stars?

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have introduced Tera Raid battles. These Battles revolve around the Terastal Phenomenon, a new mechanic introduced into the series. Terra Raid Battles can be done with friends or AI-generated NPCs. There are six levels of Terra Raids Battle, ranging from 1 to 6 stars. Each Terra Raid Battle Star level has different requirements, as shown below.

Terra Raid Battle Star Requirements
1-Star You can participate in these Battles from the beginning Once you complete the Tutorials.
2- Star You can participate in these Battles from the beginning once you complete the Tutorials and gain access to the 1-Star Terra Raid Battles.
3-Star You need to Aquire three Gym Badges and gain access to the 2-Star Terra Raid Battles.
4-Star Get seven Gym Badges and gain access to the 3-Star Terra Raid Battles.
5-Star Complete the game’s Main Story and gain access to the 4-Star Terra Raid Battles.
6-Star To gain access to This level of Terra Raids, you need to Win the Academy Ace Tournament and 10 4-Star or higher Terra Raids Battles offline or online.

To increase Tera Raid Battle Stars in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you must progress through the game’s story and acquire Gym Badges. So, even if you want to jump into this type of content as soon as possible, it is locked behind the plot, so don’t try to rush it. However, once you reach the most challenging raids, you must ensure you have the proper team to counter the raid’s Pokemon. You can see which creature you’ll face before entering, so that will give you room to prepare beforehand.
