Kay Vess is not a Jedi so you can’t just go swinging in with your saber waving. After stealing a spaceship, our protagonist’s first goal is to establish her name in Toshara’s underworld. Although she had a bad first interaction with Gorak, she wouldn’t let that stop her from infiltrating Gorak’s Base in Star Wars Outlaws. This area is located inside Pyke’s Stronghold, and you must not allow yourself to get seen by any guards who are patrolling this zone.

Since Kay is a no-name offworlder who has just arrived in Toshara, nobody has a high opinion of her. You cannot simply stride into Pyke’s Stronghold at this point Star Wars Outlaws and you must infiltrate Gorak’s Base via a hidden path. Luckily, there is a handy open vent that you can find on the right side of the zone entrance.

Just enter this vent hole to be dropped off on the second floor. This is where the hard part starts. Many players may have issues passing this stage since there are a ton of patrolling guards. Here’s what you need to do.

  1. Follow the two patrolling guards and get down the stairs.
  2. Head to the left and enter the hidden path to your left.

The nearby guard who is on stand-by may be able to notice you. So you have to move fast. I recommend sending Nix to distract the man before you pass through this section of Gorak’s Base.

  1. Use the boxes as covers and head straight.
  2. Pass through the short stairs at the end of this road.
  3. Climb up the yellow grates in the next room.

Platforming Section

This is a safe zone in Gorak’s Base, and you won’t encounter any guards. On your right, you can find a lock you need to open using Data Splice. The next area is only a platforming challenge, and you don’t need to worry about being caught.

  3. Use the turbo-lift as a platform to reach the next section.
  4. Command Nix to press the button on the wall.
  5. Climb up the second turbo-lift and jump to the grate.
  6. Enter the broken pipe and head right.
  7. Take the left path and order Nix to hold down the shutter.
  8. Shoot the machine inside the box to stop the fan.
  9. Pass through the broken fan and turn left.

This section contains a treasure chest that you can open to get Repulsor Drive Adapter material. If you want to continue infiltrating Gorak’s Base, you have to climb up the ladder near the hole. Then, you need to use your hook and swing yourself to the other side. This path will lead you to Pyke’s Stronghold where you can access Gorak’s terminal.

In this section, you can either go in guns blazing or use stealth. Either way, you must remove the barrier by destroying two power sources on the bottom floor. Afterward, you still need to lockpick the gate to access the vault.
