Do you want to know how to kill Sluggy (The Blob) in Sons of the Forest? If yes, this short guide might come in handy in spite of your game experience. You will discover everything you need to know about Sluggy in Sons of the Forest here. We will start with the general information about this monster and then finish this guide with the battle strategy for Sluggy.

Who is Sluggy in Sons of the Forest?

Sluggy, also known as The Blob, is one of the scariest monsters in Sons of the Forest, who you can kill. It is a mutated mass with tons of arms and legs inside it. Sluggy has a considerable size, so most players consider it the most powerful enemy. Despite that, everything is the opposite.

Sluggies are not enemy entities in Sons of the Forest. Before encountering Sluggies in the game, you will see this monster in various unreachable areas inside the cave and tunnels.

How to Defeat Sluggy in Sons of the Forest

Even though Sluggy seems the most powerful monster, defeating it won’t be a problem even if you are at the beginning game’s stages. Primarily, Sluggy can be found wedged inside the rock, blocking your further progression.

The monster cannot escape this place itself, and that’s why attacking Sluggy is pretty straightforward. Use any explosive to kill Sluggy and continue progressing in Sons of the Forest.

And if you see Sluggy in the unreachable areas inside the cave, consider that you cannot damage it. The monster is not vulnerable to any attacks, so there is no point in trying to kill it.

Rewards for Defeating Sluggy in Sons of the Forest

Like any other monster in Sons of the Forest, Sluggy features a reward for killing it. The achievement ‘Pinata’ is unlocked by blowing up Sluggy in Sons of the Forest.

If you play in the multiplayer mode, you can get this achievement even being within range of another player blowing up a Sluggy.

Pinata is one of the 28 achievements obtained in Sons of the Forest. So, it might be extremely valuable for collectors who want to complete the game for 100%.

That’s it with killing Sluggy in Sons of the Forest. Even though this monster looks scary, defeating it is one of the most straightforward things you can do in the game.

As of 2023, Sons of the Forest is available only on PC.
