Like many creature collector games, players might wonder how to level up their Pals fast in Palworld to guide them through this world’s most dangerous zones. However, in this entry, you not only have to level your party but also gain levels yourself to unlock new things. From crafting recipes to new facilities, everything is locked behind a level. Thankfully, almost every activity in the game helps you become stronger, and here we’ll nudge you in the right direction so you can reach the endgame as fast as possible.

As soon as you fire up the game and start picking materials, you’ll notice you’ll get experience. Initially, gaining levels is fast. But, as you progress through Palworld, you should optimize your time and activities during the day. Here are some of the recommended ways to level up fast during the early hours:

  1. Follow the tutorial.
    • After spawning, a yellow box with tutorial steps will pop up on the top right corner of your screen. As you finish some tasks, a few others will appear, and one of those recommends that you capture 30 Pals to level up. This idea is neat and the easiest way to gain levels during your early hours. So, craft as many Pal Spheres as possible and capture those cute creatures.
  2. Take advantage of the Capture bonuses.
    • As soon as you capture your first Pal of any species and any subsequent one, you’ll see a bar filled with 10 Pal icons. This means that you’ll get a huge experience boost when capturing the tenth Pal of the same species. You can do this easily by catching Lamball, Chikipi, and Cattiva at the starting area.
  3. Gather everything you see.
    • This might sound like obvious advice, but sometimes, we tend to abandon some materials when exploring. The game gives you experience in crafting and gathering, and the latter is quite useful when exploring. If possible, collect any ingredient you see without surpassing your carry weight, and you’ll be racking up those levels in no time.
  4. Defeat Pals.
    • It might not be the friendliest thing, but beating up Pals is another easy way to level up in Palworld. Once you have your Pals at level 10 or above, roam the starting area and beat up as many as possible. You’ll get experience points and several crafting materials.
