Elixirs in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, just like in the previous game, can be made by mixing various bugs and critters with monster parts. The bugs can be found all over Hyrule, while monster parts can be obtained by defeating enemies. Most of these Elixirs won’t heal Link’s Hearts, but they can temporarily enhance his abilities, such as boosting his Stamina or giving him a particular Resistance temporarily.

Similar to Cooking, you will need to use a Cooking Pot or a Zonai Portable Pot to craft Elixirs in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Cooking Pots can be easily found in Villages, Towns, and Stables. Meanwhile, Zonai Portable Pot can be acquired by spending a Zonai Charge at a Zonai Device Dispenser. But, do keep in mind that the Portable Pot is a single-use item and will instantly break after one use.

Combine at least one bug and monster part in a Pot, and you can start brewing up those delicious Elixirs. To increase the potency of an Elixir, add more ingredients that give the same buff up to five items in total. But, don’t combine ingredients with different buffs, as they will end up nullifying each other!
