While the A Rift In Time DLC brought many new recipes to the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, this expansion also offered several alternative options for familiar snacks. One such meal is Gourmet Grubs, an alternative version of Bug Platter that includes completely new ingredients. Cooking this highly dubious delicacy requires careful exploration of Eternity Isle and the search for several rare crawling creatures. However, if you want to complete the Eternity Isle Meals Collection, we are here to help you and tell you how to make Gourmet Grubs in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Cooking Gourmet Grubs

First, it is worth clarifying that Gourmet Grubs are part of the exclusive Eternity Isle Meals Collection for A Rift In Time DlC. Therefore, you can not cook this dish unless you buy this extension. All the ingredients of this recipe were lost in time, and Eternity Isle is the only place where you can find them.

However, if you have met this requirement, you can cook Gourmet Grubs in Disney Dreamlight Valley by collecting the following ingredients:

  • Sea Snail. Among all the materials you will find, Sea Snail is the simplest. You can catch this creature in the Ancient’s Landing area by fishing in areas such as Docks and Overlook. Look for Blue ripples in the water, and you can catch Sea Snails.
  • Sand Worm. To find this terrifying desert dweller, you must get to Glittering Dunes. Visit areas such as Plains, Wastes, and Borderlands and look for quicksand marked on the map in clay-red color. Next, look for orange sand ripples and fish until you catch what you need.
  • Scorpion. Like the previous ingredient, you can find Scorpion in the quicksand of the Glittering Dunes biome. But to catch this creature, you should fish in areas with blue sand ripples.

Once you have collected all the ingredients, put them in the pot and click Start Cooking. After a few seconds, you will have delicious (or not-so-delicious) Gourmet Grubs. However, if you are not afraid to eat these creatures, this meal can be an excellent source of Energy, restoring 5,000 points. Alternatively, you can sell it for as much as 2,000 Star Coins. It may not be the highest price, but considering that you only need to do a little fishing, the benefits are undeniable. And finally, don’t forget to treat Simba to a new version of his favorite meal.
