Puree is a 1-Star Recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley that Dreamers will not be able to make until later in their playthrough due to the primary ingredient being locked within a specific end-game biome. Nevertheless, cooking this recipe will eventually appear as an objective for players in the form of a Dreamlight or Pixar Fest Duty. Completing these duties is paramount for farming valuable Dreamlight currency or earning rewards in the season pass, some of which are the extremely rare Moonstone. Accordingly, continue reading to learn how to cook a bowl of Puree in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Using a Potato to Cook the Puree Recipe In How to Make Puree in

As a 1-Star Recipe, Puree only requires one ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley — a single Potato. As common as Potatoes are in the real world, they are hard to come by in the Valley, as they can only be obtained from Goofy’s Stall, located within a biome known as the Forgotten Lands.

The Forgotten Lands is a biome that sits to the northwest of the central Plaza and must first be accessed via its entrance within the Sunlit Plateau. In other words, paying the Dreamlight costs for unlocking both of these biomes is a requirement for players to reach the shop selling Potatoes in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Opening the Sunlit Plateau will set players back 7,000 Dreamlight, which is a reasonable investment during the mid-game stages of one’s adventure. On the other hand, 15,000 Dreamlight, over double the amount for Sunlit Plateau, is required to enter the Forgotten Lands. Thus, those who have yet to unlock these two areas will need to do some extensive Dreamlight farming before they can hope to buy a Potato or its Seed type.

Once the Forgotten Lands is accessible, players can purchase Potatoes from Goofy or buy the Seeds and plant the crop by themselves. Potatoes take 35 minutes of real-world time to grow, which is not very long compared to the 4-hour Pumpkin of the Forgotten Lands. After procuring or harvesting a Potato, players can return to their kitchen in their home or visit Remy’s parlor, where they can cook the Puree Recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
