Sometimes the hidden quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley leads to the coolest rewards. If you finish all of the Secret Potato Quests, you’ll earn a cool reward after your efforts. But first, we need to tackle the Green Potato Quest, which will lead us to the Jade Crystal crafting recipe in Dreamlight Valley. Before you can find this shiny item, you must first complete the Golden, Red, Orange, and Blue Potato Quests.

The Jade Crystal is a quest item, and you’ll need a crafting recipe to access it in Dreamlight Valley. Which means we need to get to work on the hidden Green Potato Quest. As with the other hidden quests, finding it is luck-based. Just look around in different areas for items that don’t belong and interact with them.

Thankfully, Jade Crystal has a simple crafting recipe with a single ingredient: Emerald Silver. It’s the process of getting the Emerald Silver that can take most of your time.

How To Get Emerald Silver

You’ll find Emerald Bottles floating in the water around the Valley. Use your Fishing Rod, of course, to pull them to shore. You know you have the right spot when colored ripples surround the bottle.

Typically, you want to search the waters in the following biomes. You’ll end up with 16, and you’ll need all of them to get the Jade Crystal in Dreamlight Valley:

  • Dazzle Beach
  • Forest of Valor
  • Forgotten Lands
  • Frosted Heights
  • Glade of Trust
  • Peaceful Meadow
  • Sunlit Plateau

Now that you have the Emerald Bottles, open each of them. This will take some time, but once you open them all, you’re left with Emerald Silver.

Head over to a Crafting Station. All that’s left to do is use the 16 Emerald Silver pieces to craft the Jade Crystal in Dreamlight Valley.

Using the Jade Crystal

To finish the Green Potato Quest, you’ll need the Green Potato. Once you have your Jade Crystal, go to the Vitalys Mine and enter the Herbalist Room. This room is only accessible once you reach Friendship Level 7 with Simba.

Go to the crystal ball to collect the Green Seed. Plant it in the Forgotten Lands, and once grown, it will give you the Green Potato. It usually takes about three hours to harvest, but you can use the Miracle Growth Elixir to speed up the process.

When you have it, head to a Crafting Station again. Now, you can craft the Crystalline Green Potion using this recipe:

  • x1 Jade Crystal
  • x1 Green Potato
  • x1 Empty Vial

And that’s it for the Jade Crystal. Now, you can move on with the Secret Potato Quests to reach the final reward.
