Like any other souls-like game, players are in them for the combat and the satisfaction of obtaining rare loot after beating an enemy. Remnant 2, while it isn’t the hardest game of the genre, brings many things that’ll make players feel at home. One is boss loot, which will dramatically change how you play the game. One of the items you might get while playing Remnant 2 is the Cracked Shell, which will let you craft the Space Crabs Mod. While it isn’t guaranteed you’ll get the dungeon containing this item, we’ve prepared a guide to tell you how and what to use it for.
Where to Find the Cracked Shell in Remnant 2
To find the Cracked Shell item in Remnant 2, you’ll need to beat the final boss of The Hatchery Dungeon. While most things in this game are procedurally generated, boss drops are always the same. This is something to look forward to, but remember that not all dungeons spawn in specific biomes. However, if you want to look for this instance, you can find The Hatchery in the Phantom Wasteland of N’Erud. It isn’t guaranteed that you’ll get this place on your biome. Yet, all dungeons hold great loot to help you through your journey.
How to Use the Cracked Shell
The Cracked Shell is an excellent item in Remnant 2 that’ll let you craft the Space Crabs mod. This is a fantastic weapon mod, as it has two charges and launches eggs with alien crabs that chase enemies down. If you’re facing mini-bosses or more formidable opponents, you should equip this mod to help you during a fight. This mod is excellent when used in closed spaces or against mini-bosses but not so great in open spaces or against several foes. Yet, the game is all about experimenting, so don’t be afraid of trying it when playing.
