You must whistle before the cave gate to open the Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This will do the trick and open the gate in no time. The Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave is located in the southeast region of the map near Cape Cales. The exact location of the map is shown above. Here are the steps you need to follow.

  1. Go to the location shown on the above map by the Necluda Sea.
  2. Jump from the cliff and glide inside the cave below the cliff.
  3. Get on the platform and whistle in front of the gate, and the gate will open.

The solution by whistling stems from the correlating quest’s riddle, “shrill song of wind through lips.” Since the cave is full of water, building a boat to navigate through it will make things easier. Otherwise, make sure to bring some stamina portions with you for swimming.

Once you get inside, you can find Tingle’s Tights and Bubbul Gem with other rewards. Getting these two items is easy if you have gone inside the cave by boat. First, once you are inside, go to the far corner of the cave and find a Bubbulfrog hanging above. Shoot at it, and you will get the Bubbul Gem.

To get the Tingle’s Tights, get on to the wrecked ship in the middle of the Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. You do not necessarily need to defeat enemies on the pirate ship but clear them first if they become more aggressive. Go to the back side of the ship, and you will find a chest behind some crates. Open the chest, and you will get the Tingle’s Tights.

Considering the enemies inside and the rewards, this cave is easy to access. However, you need to know the correct method to open the cave. Also, you must be careful with the water level. Make sure to have some stamina portions to manage your stamina, and you will get out of this cave without any problems.
