This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

From the get-go, you’re going to come across a lot of different cult stashes and supply crates in Alan Wake 2. There are different ways to open all of them, but the most puzzling are the tree supply boxes littered all over the map. These are supply crates that are attached to trees with latch locks on them, leaving you unable to open them. There are so many of these supply boxes that finding a key to every single one might seem almost impossible.

Fortunately, you won’t need to find a key for every single locked tree supply box you come across. Before we really break down what you need and where to find it, we outlined it below:

  • Reach the ‘Lost Girl’ chapter.
  • Go to Coffee World.
  • Find the Percolator ride.
  • Defeat the Taken that you find there.
  • Grab the Screwdriver towards the back of the ride.

To detail the above, you’ll reach a point where you must go to Watery as Saga. Once there, you’ll meet the Koskola brothers face-to-face, where they will talk to you about a few things alongside their strange, coffee-themed amusement park, Coffee World. Once you’re at the aforementioned Coffee World, you’re going to want to head over to their ride titled the Percolator.

Here, you will face off against a couple of Taken. Once they’re down, you can make your way to the back end of the ride in order to find a junction box with the Screwdriver on top of it. You can use this Screwdriver whenever you come across a tree supply box or anything that has a key latch lock to break it.
