It’s a short wait ahead until the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, but you can play the beta as early as October. Like many other beta tests, there’s an Open and an Early Access window for Black Ops 7 Beta Multiplayer and Zombies, and well, there’s a ticket for you to join the early access and get in for free!
Black Ops 7 Beta Release Date
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta runs from October 2nd to 8th. You can join the game with early access permission on Oct 2, and then all players can enjoy the Beta on Oct 5 in the Open Beta. The dates are the same for all platforms, so no kick-starters for specific consoles or PC.
Now, if you are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate/PC subscriber or you’ve pre-ordered any version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, you should be able to join the early access beta right on time without a hassle. But if you want to test the game for free before opening the wallet, there are 2 options:

On September 30, 2025, if you watch 1 hour of COD NEXT stream on Twitch from any streamer that’s playing the game in the event, you’ll gain a free Early Access code to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta. You must have linked your Twitch account with your Activision account, and then, after 60 minutes of watching, the code will drop into your Twitch inventory.
You can redeem the code on callofduty.com/betaredeem, and then you can jump into the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access Beta for free on October 2. However, there are more rewards to earn if you watch the COD NEXT stream for longer:
