In Nightingale, Minor Realm Cards are the Realm Cards that truly tailor a Realm to your liking. They are the cards that allow you to change smaller, less impacting aspects of your current Realm, whether it’s by bumping up the difficulty a bit or even increasing the weight you can carry. These changes impact everyone in your Realm, but they’re a bit of a challenge to play. You can’t simply pop open your inventory and play a card directly from there. You’ll have to put in a little more work than that.

Playing Minor Realm Cards in Nightingale requires you to travel to a Realmic Transmuter. There is only one in each Realm, so be sure to figure out where it is by checking the map when you first spawn into a new Realm. Oftentimes, the Realmic Transmuter is relatively close to your spawn point, but being that each Realm is procedurally generated, there’s a good chance that this won’t always be the case.

Each Realmic Transmuter stands out quite a bit, so finding them is pretty simple. Once you find one, approach it and press E on your keyboard to play Minor Realm Cards. This will open up a menu that allows you to look through the Minor Realm Cards you already have unlocked and possibly play one of them.

As you look through each of your available Minor Cards, you can read what they do, and then drag and drop them over on the right side of the menu. If you have the one chosen that you’d like to impact your current Realm with, then select the Apply button and you’re good to go.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
