Spending your days on dangerous uninhabited islands and swimming across the endless ocean, you never know when death will overtake you in Stranded Deep. A shark attack, a fall from a height, or a lack of air while swimming are just some dangers on your way. After death, you can load the last save and continue the game from that point or start the gameplay from the beginning if you are playing in Hardcore Mode. However, if you play with friends, death is not terrible because you can revive each other.
To revive a teammate in Stranded Deep, you must use a Bandage on him. You can easily find this item on your starting raft or in containers and cabinets on sunken ships. Also, you can easily craft a Bandage using one Lashing and one Cloth. To do this, go to the Consumables tab and select the appropriate recipe.
Once you have at least one Bandage, you must approach the body of your deceased friend and use an item on it by pressing a definite key, depending on your device:
- PC: Press the E key.
- PS: click on the Square button.
- Xbox: Click on the X button.
Although reviving is not difficult, there are a couple of tips that you should follow to use Bandage more effectively:
- First, you should stock up on Bandages in advance. Create a first aid chest in your base, and always take a few Bandages before you travel. After all, if your friend dies in the ocean, he will have to wait a long until you find all the materials and craft a saving item.
- Second, try to never die at the same time. After all, you can revive a friend if he is dead, but you must start from the last save if both of you are dead.
- Lastly, you should always drop one Bandage near a player’s corpse before starting to revive it. After all, to help him, you need to spend a few seconds, and the shark can likely kill you during this time. In this case, the resurrected friend will pick up the Bandage and will be able to help you right away.
