Not only are you able toย travel through the dark expanseย of spaceย with your companionsย inย Starfield, but you’re also able to create outposts on the different planets that you explore. You can have eight outposts standing at a single time, so you’ll need to dismantle your outpost modules if you reach this limit. However, if you don’t know how to scrap outpost beacons and furniture inย Starfield, we’re here to help you.

If you want to remove your outpost beacon after it’s been set down, you must complete the following steps:

  1. First, leave the build editor.ย
  2. After that, walk up to the outpost to choose one of the two options: build around it or remove the outpost entirely.ย
  3. To remove the outpost, you will need to press theย R keyย on your keyboard or theย X buttonย on your Xbox controller.ย

You’re also able to do the same when you place down furniture or other items on your base. However, the way to actually remove them is a little bit different.

How to Scrap Furniture

Here are the steps to scrap outpost furniture inย Starfield:ย

  1. Enter the build editor.ย
  2. Then, walk up to the piece of furniture that you want to scrap and press and hold theย R keyย on your keyboard or press and hold theย X buttonย on your Xbox controller.ย
  3. This is the same way that you can scrap anything that you place down on your outpost area, meaning that it doesn’t have to just be furniture.ย

When you scrap these items, you will get the resources back to use again. Therefore, you won’t be wasting anything if you decide to add several features, only to remove them shortly afterward.

We hope that you learned everything to know about how to scrap outpost beacons and furniture in Starfield. Now, you’ll know what to do if you reach the max outpost limit or decide to remove some pieces of furniture.
