Knowing how to set your own spawn in Arcane Odyssey can save yourself so much pain and misery, especially when other Roblox players are trying to cash in on your bounty. That alone makes it a useful trick, but how does it work? Normally, you’d talk to an NPC—at least that’s how it is in other popular RPGs on Roblox. But here, in Arcane Odyssey, you need what’s called a Camp Marker!

In Arcane Odyssey, a Camp Marker is a Common Tool, like lanterns and shovels. Once added to your hotbar and using it, a small, rectangular marker will appear. When it’s green, the area is suitable for a camp. Now, if and when you die, you’ll return to that location.
There are a few quirks to keep in mind when dealing with Camp Markers in Arcane Odyssey:
- Suitable locations are generous, but not infinite; some areas are off-limits, like spawn islands.
- It costs 20 galleons to place a Camp Marker.
- Your Camp Marker can be destroyed by other players.
- You can pick your Camp Marker up.
- If you log out without storing your Camp Marker, it will disappear for good.
Should you be unfortunate enough to die by another player, after your Camp Marker is destroyed, you’ll spawn all the way back to a spawn island.
To get Camp Markers in the first place, you’ll be returning to a spawn island, anyway. While you can’t buy Camp Markers from any merchants in towns, you can find them in chests. I recommend choosing a server with very few players and heading to Redwake.
Redwake is the first town you unlock during the story and contains numerous common and silver treasure chests. They respawn quick enough that you can circle the docks and search the bottom of the sea, underneath the docks, for chests to loot. Your bound to get a Camp Marker really early on!
