Solving the puzzle involves lighting the braziers on the four corners of the bridge using a fire Spell such as Incendio. If you manage to correctly activate the torches’ mechanisms, a round hatch will open. Beneath the bridge that connects the Library and The Great Hall, you’ll find multiple Chests, one of which holds a Legendary item. Here’s how to solve the Bridge Fire puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy.
Bridge Fire Puzzle Location in Hogwarts Legacy
To reach the Hogwarts Legacy bridge with the fire puzzle, you must fast-travel to the Viaduct Courtyard Floo Flame. After arrival, you can find your target destination down the stairs to the left of your spawn point. As noted above, you will need a fire-making spell to solve the puzzle. You’ll learn Incendio promptly after completing “Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1” during the main storyline.
Hogwarts Legacy Bridge Fire Puzzle Solution
To solve the Bridge Fire Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy, you must first examine the circular hatch on the bridge with mysterious markings. The maintenance hole cover will display four markings and the Roman numerals I-IV. The emblems shown represent the four braziers on the overpass. After lighting the braziers, you must rotate them to match the symbol and their corresponding Roman numerals.
Let’s go over the correct numbers and symbols of the Hogwarts Bridge Fire Puzzle:
- The Roman numeral “I” is the triangular reticule-like symbol. Accordingly, go to the second brazier on the left and turn its base to “I.”
- “II” is the circle and line going through its center. Likewise, ensure “II” faces the front of the symbol’s torch.
- “III” is the triangle with the target-like icon.
- “IV” is the diamond with an “X.”
Remember that matching the numbers and symbols isn’t enough to solve the Bridge Fire Puzzle. You’ll need to light the braziers as well to unlock the hatch and access the cosmetic treasures below.
