The fifth of Riven’s Wishes in Destiny 2 takes you to Rheasilvia to defeat a fearsome Taken for Pauurc, the Farseer’s Heir. Generally speaking, Riven’s Wishes are relatively simple, but this one just feels a bit more difficult. You’ll need to defeat Taken bosses, which isn’t too taxing. Frankly, we can do that in our sleep at this point. However, summoning and defeating Pauurc offers a bit more of a challenge. Let’s take a look at how to summon and defeat Pauurc in Destiny 2.

Summoning Pauurc, the Farseer’s Heir is much more simple than you might have imagined. Well, the process is, anyway.

  1. Head to Rheasilvia within the Dreaming City.
  2. Find and defeat a Farseer Sabateur.
  3. Collect the Awoken charge from the Farseer Sabateur.
  4. Place the Awoken charge in the appropriate vessel.

Rheasilvia can be found directly to the North of The Strand and The Blind Well that we’ve spent so much time in throughout the Season of the Wish, as well as to the Northeast of Divalian Mists. To get there, you can travel to the Divalian Mists Landing Zone, then hop on your Sparrow to follow the path up to Rheasilvia.

Once you’re in Rheasilvia, you’ll need to wait around for a while. You won’t be able to actually find a Farseer Sabateur until you notice a message pop up on the bottom lefthand side of your screen that reads: A Sabateur wanders the Dreaming City… Once the Sabateur has arrived, travel throughout Rheasilvia until you find it and defeat it.

Once you defeat the Sabateur, it will drop an Awoken charge. Keep in mind that it will slow you down. To get rid of it and summon Pauurc, the Farseer’s Heir, you’ll need to deliver the charge to a Well of Awoken Energy. This will charge the item and you can take it to the statue to summon Pauurc.

How To Defeat Pauurc, Farseer’s Heir

Defeating Pauurc is pretty simple. To begin with, you should take down the Taken’s shields using the same methods you used before with some slight deviations. Defeat Sabateurs, take the Awoken Charge, dunk it in the well, and now, instead of shoving it in the statue, throw it at Pauurc. Once his shields are down, take him down like you would with any other boss: with Heavy firepower and Super abilities.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
