While many of the monsters in Lethal Company will try to kill you as soon as they spot you, others won’t attack you for no reason, and Baboon Hawks are one of them. Having a strange appearance, Baboon Hawks have adopted many of the habits of primates, which provides many clues on how to counter them. On the other hand, they are significantly larger than normal Baboons, and thanks to their powerful beaks, they can deal enormous damage. A large flock of Baboon Hawks will give you no chance of survival, but if you follow some tips, they won’t cause any problems.

As we said, Baboon Hawks have adopted most of the habits of ordinary primates. They often live in packs and are not overly aggressive but will fiercely defend their territory. You can notice boundaries from the territory in the form of small shiny objects lying around the perimeter, and you should not touch them.

Having met only 1-2 individuals of Baboon Hawks, it may seem to you that they are showing aggression and want to attack you, but this is not so. Standing still, you will notice that they are approaching and moving away, and also making some sounds. They will try to scare you away, but will not attack.

On the other hand, if you don’t respond to scaring them away and continue to move deeper into their territory, they may attack. And be sure that 2-3 blows from their beak will be enough to take your life. Also, if you attack these monsters first, they will probably attack immediately, trying to kill you before you kill them.

How To Protect from Baboon Hawks

The best advice is to never go deep into Baboon Hawks territory. If you stand back and don’t provoke these creatures, they will never attack you. But if you can’t avoid a fight, here’s how you can counter them:

  • If you encounter 3-5 Baboon Hawks, get close to other players. Create the appearance of a crowd of people, and the enemies will retreat with a high probability.
  • If the monsters don’t retreat, spread out. If you are attacked by a pack of Baboon Hawks, you will not survive. But you have a chance to kill them or scare them off in a 1v1 encounter.

To sum it up, here’s what you need to know about Baboon Hawks in Lethal Company:

  1. These monsters will try to scare you off before attacking.

  2. Single individuals will never attack first.

  3. Creating the appearance of a crowd may scare them away.

  4. Never go deep into Baboon Hawks territory.
