Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released soon before the end of the year. But Activision once again is offering players not just one, but two, chances to get a taste of its new gameplay mechanic. For example, you can now use your opponents as human shields and there’s a slew of fresh offensive movement options called Omnimovement. Any shooter fans wouldn’t want to miss out on trying these experimental features by playing the beta. Plus, although your Black Ops 6 progress will be reset, participating in the BO6 Weekend Beta will let you unlock exclusive tester rewards.
Black Ops 6 Early Access Weekend 1 Beta Rewards
The first Weekend One beta, which runs from August 30 to September 4, is exclusive to those who pre-ordered the game and Game Pass subscribers. During this period, the level progression is locked to Level 20 but you can unlock the exclusive cosmetic: “Squish” Operator skin.
In case you’ve gotten to Level 20 but the Westpoint skins are still locked, try restarting the game first. There’s a chance that the game hasn’t registered your progress and closing it will refresh the menu.
- Level 2: “Beta Tester” Animated Emblem.
- Level 6: “Beta” Tag Spray.
- Level 11: “No Bugs” Weapon Charm.
- Level 15: “Quick Draw” Emote.
- Level 20: “Squash” Operator Skin for Westpoint.
- Level 20: “Squish” Operator Skin for Westpoint. Only unlockable during Weekend One.
BO6 Public Beta Weekend 2 Rewards
The Black Ops 6 Weekend Two open public beta is scheduled to run for 3 days, from September 6 to September 9 for all PC and console players. This time, you can continue progressing to Level 21 and up from where you left off in the first beta period.
There are three additional cosmetics that you can acquire once you reach Level 30. However, it is unclear whether Level 30 is the beta level cap or you can progress even further. Below is the complete list of all rewards you can get during the second BO6 open beta:
- Level 2: “Beta Tester” Animated Emblem.

It shouldn’t take you long to level up in Black Ops 6 Weekend Beta periods and claim the rewards. After all, it took us only around 4 hours with a 1:1 K/D ratio, 40:60 win/lose ratio, and abysmal scores to get to max levels! Again, do note though, that aside from beta rewards, all your progress will be wiped once BO6 is released on October 25, 2024.
