Both Yasuke and Naoe have many weapons in Assassin’s Creed Shadows that you can unlock and equip. However, the game doesn’t mention how to do so. At first, each character will start with one weapon, or in the case of Yasuke, with two. But after you progress through the story or complete some side quests or targets, your armament will grow. So, if you’d rather equip yourself before hitting the open world, we’ll tell you how to unlock all weapons in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
How To Unlock All Naoe Weapons

Initially, many might believe that weapon unlocks are tied to the story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and that’s partially true. For starters, the main story targets and quests reward you sometimes with legendary weapons, and sometimes that will be the first time you get a particular weapon, yet that’s not the only way.
For instance, Naoe can unlock a Kusarigama by following the main story and completing the “Heads Will Roll” quest, which rewards the Death Whisperer Legendary Kusarigama. Yet, she can also obtain a Kusarigama as a random drop from a chest, complete side quests, or find a gear merchant. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that weapons will start to appear more often in merchants’ inventories once you unlock them through main or side missions. For instance, before the “Heads Will Roll” quest, we never found a Kusarigama in a merchant’s inventory. After that mission, however, we saw them appear more often.
How To Unlock All Yasuke Weapons

Yasuke’s weapons are a bit easier to obtain, especially since he’ll start with his Long Katana and Naginata and can start finding bows right away. The Teppo Rifle became available to us after the “Lords of Azuchi” quest, which is part of Yasuke’s personal questline. However, just like Naoe, you can also find the Teppo Rifle in chests or as a reward from optional and main targets.
The Kanabo, on the other hand, was available to us from the start, and we got out first through a merchant, but we also saw this weapon as a reward from a couple of side objectives. So, if you’re playing as Yasuke, head to a gear vendor first to see what’s available, and play some of his personal quests to unlock more.
In short, to unlock all weapons for Naoe and Yasuke in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you basically have to explore. None of them are tied to the main story, yet following it might be the fastest way to obtain them. If you’d rather explore and tackle side targets, you can also find these weapons way before reaching a specific quest in the story. In the end, you’ll be able to get them all, so it’s up to you to decide what to do first.
