Vampire Survivors who like to “bring in the heat” literally to their build should consider unlocking and evolving the Fire Wand, a Weapon that deals heavy damage to enemies with blasts of flames. More specifically, this Weapon fires three streaks of flames at random enemies, which is not ideal for a starting Weapon but is nonetheless practical if you position yourself properly from danger. Conversely, once the Fire Wand has evolved into Hellfire, the projectiles become much more potent by transforming into giant meteors of flames that can wipe out hordes of mobs in their path.
How to get the Fire Wand in Vampire Survivors
To unlock the Fire Wand in Vampire Survivors, you must destroy a total of 20 Light Sources on any Stage. Light sources include environmental objects like the orange braziers of Mad Forest, the candlesticks of Inlaid Library, or the blue torches of Moongolow. Once 20 have been destroyed, the Fire Wand will automatically be added to your pool of weapons.

How to Get and Evolve the Shadow Pinion in Vampire Survivors
If you want to evolve the Fire Wand into Hellfire in Vampire Survivors, you must acquire a passive item called Spinach. Even if you have only played a few runs of Mad Forest in your playthrough, you will have doubtless encountered Spinach in your treasure loot. Despite its name, this item is not for consumption but instead can be equipped to grant you increased damage dealt to enemies, making it one of the best passive items in the game. Once obtained, make sure you also have Fire Wand in your equipped weaponry.
After maxing out the levels of both your Spinach and Fire Wand, the next chest you open after defeating a boss in Vampire Survivors will evolve your wand into Hellfire. While the damage dealt and area reached are much more substantial than the Fire Wand, Hellfire still fires at random enemies. As a result, it should be considered a secondary weapon that you use to defeat mobs surrounding you rather than the targets you are directly facing. That way, you do not need to think about constantly repositioning to make Hellfire’s projectiles strike the enemies you are targeting.
Vampire Survivors is available on Android, iOS, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and PC.
