Are you trying to unlock the Archon secret Archetype in Remnant 2? The Souls-like action-adventure game features a number of hidden Archetypes or classes like the Gunslinger or Alchemist. Remnant 2: Complete Guide to Unlock Archon Archetype
1. Unlock Explorer and Invader Archetypes
First, you have to unlock these two secret Archetypes before you can get Archon. Check out our Remnant 2 Invader guide on how to unlock the class. Afterward, you need to raise Invader to Level 5 with the Worm Hole skill activated. For the Explorer, you need to raise it to Level 10 with the Fortune Hunter skill.
2. Acquire Five Vital Items To Unlock Remnant 2 Archon Archetype in Ward 13
Then, obtain these four unique items from Ward 13 vendors. They are:
- Leto’s Amulet
- Black Cat Band Ring
- Anastasija’s Inspiration Ring
- Amber Moonstone Ring
- The whole Realmwalker armor set
Leto’s Amulet will appear in Reggie’s inventory once you’ve done 100 flops. Flop is the leaping dodge move that you can only perform when wearing Heavy Armor. The item will be bought for 1,000 Scraps. He will also sell you the Black Cat Band Ring for 500 Scraps after you’ve died at least 15 times.
The third item can be obtained from Whispers by trading in 3,000 Scraps. Whispers also sell the Realmwalker armor set but you’ll have to beat the story mode and unlock the Explorer Archetype before you can buy it. Purchasing the set will set you back 2,725 Scraps. The Amber Moonstone Ring will be sold by Cass for 500 Scraps. But Cass’s inventory will rotate every 30 minutes, so you might need to keep checking her items. 3. Obtain The Void Heart Relic
Finding the Relic can be done by heading to N’Erud with the Seeker’s Rest as the starting area. Beat the boss, Sha’Hala, but don’t use the Override Pin. After that, wait for 12 hours. Some players on Reddit said that you can skip the waiting by advancing your console or PC time by 12 hours. This will unlock Alepsis-Taura, where you can find The Void Heart Relic.
4. Obtain Ford’s Scattergun To Unlock Archon Archetype in Remnant 2
The Long Gun can be found in Yaesha with The Red Throne and Corruptor. Always respond respectfully to the Eternal Empress and help her defeat the Corruptor boss. Give the boss’s quest item to the Empress for the Seal of the Empress Ring. However, don’t give her the Seed or the Lock Box. Head to the library while wearing the Ring and the circle on the floor will unlock a secret stash with the weapon in it.
5. Get the Cube Gun and Labyrinth Staff
In The Labyrinth area, you’ll eventually fight the Sentinel boss during the main story. Defeating the boss will give you Conflux Prism, the material needed to craft the Cube Gun at McCabe in Ward 13. Afterward, locate and defeat the optional boss named Bastion in The Labyrinth. You should find the Labyrinth Staff somewhere in the battle area.
6. Get the Zania’s Malice Ring
Zania’s Malice can be found in Root Earth at the Ashen Wasteland. Run through the area until you reach the first small checkpoint towards the trainyard. Look for a ramp with a hole that glows red near the roots. Go around the hole to find another hole in the wall. Crouch, get inside, and you should obtain it.
7. Navigate the Backroom and Obtain The Strange Box
- Equip all the items that you’ve acquired beforehand as well as the Archetypes. You’ll need to do this to unlock the secret Archon Archetype in Remnant 2.
- Head to the Fractured Ingress checkpoint at The Labyrinth. You can now open the purple portal near the checkpoint.
- The portal’s destination will keep cycling, but wait until it shows the one where you will plunge toward a certain death.
- Delay your entry for a few seconds and a platform will suddenly appear.
- Follow the path until you reach the red corrupted portal.

- Once you have obtained The Strange Box, bring it to Wallace in Ward 13. He will make a Hexahedron and unlocks Archon Archetype for you in Remnant 2.
