How to Use the Blaster Stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The Blaster Stance is one of five lightsaber fighting styles Cal can learn and use when you’re finished with the story in Survivor. The first three stances are all from the Jedi Fallen Order, but the Blaster Stance and the Crossguard Stance are new and must be earned. Thankfully, the Blaster Stance is relatively simple as long as you focus on the main story quests.

Once you reach the planet Jedha, you will meet up with your old friend Merrin. After adventuring across the desert and avoiding dangerous creatures, you must fight through a massive sandstorm. Once you finish battling Stormtroopers and an AT-ST, you will arrive at Cere’s temple. After a lengthy bout of exposition and catching up, you will have multiple objectives.
To earn the Blaster Stance, all you have to do is leave the base towards the Mantis in the hangar. As you approach your vessel, Bode will approach Cal and offer him a custom Blaster to assist him. Although apprehensive initially, Cal will accept the weapon, and a new fighting style will be yours to command.
This fighting style is described in the game as an unorthodox style. It mixes a once-handed fencing approach alongside the Blaster for ranged options. This weapon can also be used to counterattack enemies like Bloodborne. With this style equipped, you can also hold Triangle or Y to charge up the Blaster and unleash a devastating shot. Once you unlock this stance, you can modify and customize the Blaster at all workbenches across the game. Stay focused on the story until you unlock the Blaster Stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
