This guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to unlock these options. So, if you’re ready to take your Saints Row game to the next level, keep reading!
What is Crew Customization in Saints Row?
In Saints Row, players can customize their character’s and gang’s appearance. However, one feature not available in the game is the ability to customize the Saints Hideout. Instead, players can only customize the appearance of the 3rd Street Saints. You can only find this feature if you explore the Saints Hideout, which is never introduced in the game. In the Three Kings mission’s epilogue, Playa says to Gat, “What sort of crew are you looking for?” as if it were intended to lead into Gang Customization. It’s a shame that this feature was never fully developed, as it would have been a great way to add more customization options for players.
How to Unlock Crew Customization in Saints Row?
To unlock crew customization in Saints Row, you’ll need to complete the Main Missions in Saints Rows and the aggressive recruitment mission. After you’ve completed these missions, head to the Saints Hideout and explore it until you find the crew customization option.
In the beginning, there are not many options to choose from, but as you progress in the game and add more members to your crew, you will have to unlock more customization options.

There are three vehicle slots, each with a unique selection of cars. The default group includes the Bootlegger, Compton, and Zimos, but as players conquer more territory, they’ll unlock access to new groups of vehicles, including Hollywood, La Fuerza, and Magma. With 26 different vehicle choices, Saints Row IV gives players ample opportunity to customize their experience.
