The Crossguard is the fifth and final combat stance players can earn in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. This stance resembles a two-handed broadsword, using long, slow, but powerful swings to devastate anything that tries to stand in its way. It also sports a classic look first worn by Kylo Ren. It crackles with power, and using it can help you fight any boss in the game. This guide will explain how to unlock the Crossguard Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
How To Get the Crossguard Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Like the Blaster Stance, you must progress through the story until you unlock the Crossguard Lightsaber Stance. This fighting style favors a slow, hard-hitting playstyle that breaks any enemy’s guard and posture with a single swing. It is a bit hard to adjust to, and it’s by far the slowest of any fighting style Cal can use. You can earn this weapon by completing the quest “On the Trail” during Chapter 3. During this mission, you can choose between two different quest locations, back on Koboh or the shattered moon near it. Choose to travel to the moon to track this stance down. To earn this stance, you must fight a fearsome boss at the end of this quest, a Raider named Dyra Thornne.

How To Beat Drya Thornne in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Drya Thornne may wield a Crossguard lightsaber, but they aren’t a force user. Dagan Jera is outfitting his most fearsome raiders with lightsabers. As such, this fight can be tricky due to Drya using a mix of powerful attacks and long-ranged blaster fire.
Drya will occasionally leap into the air and try to slam on you with the Crossguard saber, so dodge back and use the Blaster stance to pick away at their defenses. Drya also isn’t strong in the force, and the saber swings are clumsy.
Take advantage of their sloppy attacks to dodge and counterattack with your best abilities. We suggest using the double-bladed stance to break this boss’s guard frequently. After a decent back-and-forth battle and avoiding the obvious heavy attacks, you should be able to put this raider down. Follow these steps to unlock the Crossguard Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor is available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
