The Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower is one of 15 unique towers in Tears of the Kingdom. Unlike some others, unlocking this tower can be quite the challenge, as it’s buried under snow, and there is nobody in sight to offer Link a helping hand. If you are stuck trying to figure out how to unlock and use this tower, don’t fret; we have all been there before. Thankfully, this guide will explain how to unlock the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Get the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom
When you arrive at this region, you will notice it’s covered in snow and extreme cold. We suggest you pick up some cold-resistant gear like the Archaic Warm Greaves and eat some warm food. Near the snowed-in tower is a tent with a note from some construction workers trying to repair the structure. They speak about heading into a cave to store their building supplies. This is your first clue to unlocking this tower. The coordinates for this tower are on the map above and are as follows. -3942, -1290, 0424.
After reading the note, quickly jog northwest of the tower to find Meadela’s Mantle Cave. This is where the builders traveled to. When you’re inside, you will notice some wooden planks and a stream of water. Use Ultrahand and construct a makeshift raft to help you sail on the water. As you ride the raft, it will fall down a small waterfall, and you can dismount and climb on a tiny bit of land. The bottom of the Gerudo Skyview Tower is stuck in the water. Attach your raft to the wooden plank at the bottom of the water wall and hook it around the tower’s base, like in the image below.
Once you have the raft in place, swap to the Ascend power while standing under the tower. Use the power; then, you can activate the console and fully unlock it as a Fast Travel point. If you do everything correctly, this will complete and unlock the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom. With this tower open to you now, use it as a launch pad to help you navigate the massive and sprawling Gerudo desert to the south.
