Disney Dreamlight Valley is the best life simulation for all Disney fans. You could go on adventures and quests with your favorite characters, and help them if they needed any. To find and unlock new characters you must explore the unknown area known as Biomes. So here is how to unlock new Biomes in Disney Dreamlight Valley to meet new characters.

How to Unlock New Biomes in Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you open your Map you realize the areas you haven’t explored are greyed. These are the Biomes you haven’t unlocked yet. Even if you go there you will see Night Thorns blocking the way and in order to reach the land you want, you must destroy them.

The first step to unlocking new Biomes is to restore the Pillar of Friendship and then save up enough Dreamlight to remove the Night Thorns. You will find the Pillar of Friendship in the Meadow, northwest of Goofy’s Stall.

To restore the Pillar of Friendship you must place the Orb of Friendship within the Pillar. To get the orb, Merlin will give you the Friendship is Everything quest which you can complete by developing three Friendships up to level 5.

Once you’ve got three level 5 Friendships, talk to Merlin and head back to the Pillar to find the Orb. The Orb will be released onto the ground and you should select the Pillar and then transfer the Orb over to it.

Now you would be able to unlock new Biomes if you have sufficient Dreamlights. You can get more Dreamlights by completing any task and quest available. Even the smallest of them like gathering resources or giving a character gifts will get you some Dreamlights.
