This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

A life of coziness will eventually lead to boredom. So when that happens, what do you do? You do something exciting, like visiting some pirates. Well, you shouldn’t do that in real life, but that’s what video games are here for. So here is how you can unlock the Pirate Cove in Ginger Island in Stardew Valley.

Reaching the Pirate Cove isn’t tricky but it will take some time. First, you need to unlock Ginger Island and then start building there before gaining access to the Pirate Cove. Once you complete all the Community Center Bundles or complete all the Joja Warehouse you will get a letter from Willy.

Willy will ask you to fix his boat which you will later use to travel to Ginger Island. To fix the boat you will need:

  • 200x Hardwood
  • 5x Battery Pack
  • 5x Iridium Bar

Once you’ve gathered those ingredients, you can fix the boat and then buy it for 1,000g from Willy. Now that you have a boat, it is time for a voyage to Ginger Island.

Now that you’ve arrived at Ginger Island, it’s time to get to work. To reach the Pirate Cove, you must unlock these three regions first:

  • The Western Region of Ginger Island
  • The Island Farmhouse
  • The Beach Resort

Unlocking the Western Region is easy. All you have to do is follow Leo to his hut when you arrive at the island. In the hut, you will see a parrot. Give that parrot a Golden Walnut and you will unlock the Western Region. Go to the Western Region and you shall see another parrot. This time you have to pay 10 Golden Walnuts to unlock the area.

After completing a few tasks there, you can unlock the Island Farmhouse at the cost of 20 Golden Walnuts. Now that you’ve unlocked the Farmhouse, go back to the entrance of Ginger Island and spend another 20 Golden Walnuts to unlock the Beach Resort.

Thankfully we are done with all the prerequisites of unlocking the Pirate Cove. At the bottom right-hand side of the beach, you will notice some pieces of wood that were blocking the path have been removed. Follow that path until you reach a small pond in the shape of a star. To the right side of that pond, you will see a couple of wooden planks.

That is the entrance to the Pirate Cove in Stardew Valley. We’ve many other guides and articles related to Stardew Valley, so make sure to check them as well.

Stardew Valley is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.
