Everybody knows a superhero is only good and has their latest look. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has two closets full of fantastic fits for Miles and Peter, along with some new ways to alter their appearance. These suits won’t really grant you new powers, but they will make you look good, which is just as important. Spider-Man can’t just walk into an Old Navy and buy these, so we will explain how to unlock some drip for your favorite web swingers.
How To Get New Suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Peter Parker and Miles Morales each have a large number of costumes they can unlock and wear in their latest adventure in New York. Unlike the previous game, these suits don’t grant specific powers to our heroes. They simply serve as cosmetics this time around. Suit tech and upgrades are a separate menu now; all suits you acquire will benefit from the upgrades you unlock.
Here is a rundown of how to unlock new suits for each Spider-Man.
- Play through the main story to unlock certain suits, such as the Symbiote suit.
- Leveling up, the vast majority of suits will unlock once you earn certain levels.
- Complete open-world side quests and Activities to unlock rare suits.
Once you have unlocked a suit, you still have to craft the suit in order to wear it.
How to Craft Suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Once you unlock a suit, crafting is your next step. In order to craft a suit, you need to spend one of several different resources. Here are the list of parts and tokens needed to craft every suit in the game.
- City Tokens – Earned by completing open-world side quests such as Marko’s Memories, Photo Ops, and responding to crimes.
- Hero Tokens – Earned from completing the Flame missions, Hunter Bases, Mysteriums, and Symbiote Nests.
- Tech Parts – Earned from every side activity in the game, can be found in Tech caches hidden in the city.
- Rare Tech Parts – Can be earned by completing Prowler Stashes, EMF Experiments, Hunter Blinds, Unidentified Targets, and finding in gold tech cashes hidden in the city.
Once you craft a suit, you can also craft Suit Styles, which will unlock 3 additional color variants of the suit to wear. Grind those collectibles, complete the story, and you will have some fresh suits for each Spider-Man to wear in style.
