The Antiquarian Card is an interesting Realm Card in Nightingale that’s used for travel between Realms. However, the Antiquarian Card, specifically, is required to be unlocked before you can even leave your initial Realm. Getting the card unlocked isn’t the easiest task, considering the waves of enemies you’ll take on and the boss at the end of the area. Regardless, it’s still quite possible, especially with a bit of guidance so you can head into the ring prepared.

Before you can get started with actually unlocking Nightingale‘s Antiquarian Card, you’ll need to find it. This is a relatively simple process. Pop open your map using the M key on your keyboard and look for the Site of Power. You will be able to distinguish it from other points of interest because the Essence Trader’s icon will be in the same area. The location is different in every Realm, but it will still be shown on your map anyway.

Once you get to the Site of Power, you can head in as long as your Gear Power is high enough. For the first Site of Power, your Gear Score must be at least 20. This can be increased by crafting and equipping stronger armor made of leather.

Once you’re inside, things will get just a bit hectic. The Site of Power is set up like a pyramid, and within it, there are several levels, each separated by a set of stairs. You must descend all the way to the bottom of the pyramid before beginning the unlocking process of the Antiquarian Card. Each new level with present new enemies to take down, so it would be a great idea to make sure you have recruited a Survivor beforehand to help you through.

After you’ve reached the bottom, you’ll find a large mechanism that will be glowing with blue light, and a button connected to it. Interact with the button to turn the light on the mechanism red, then prepare to fight the Fabled Automaton Knight. Taking the boss out is quite simple as long as you remember to stay out of his attack range and use a ranged weapon against him.

Once the Fabled Automaton Knight has been defeated, interact with the mechanism to unlock the Antiquarian Card.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
