The Aquarium is an optional addition to the cantina in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This fishy fixture is a local attraction to the people of Koboh, but when the game begins, it’s run down and dirty. Worst of all, it has no fish. Filling up and cleaning the Aquarium is a long sidequest in the game, and Cal can’t do it alone. You might be a powerful Jedi warrior, but if you want a cozy spot for your local fish, you’ll need to channel your inner Stardew. Just pretend you’re restoring the Community Center. It can’t be harder than thwarting the Dark Side. Here’s how to unlock the Aquarium in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Aquarium Guide
(Updated on August 27, 2024 – updated intro, images, links, and format)
Once you reach planet Koboh after the Coruscant prologue, you will end up in a dusty settlement called Ramblers Reach Outpost. This is the unofficial capital of Koboh, as it has all the remnants of a civilization that calls this world home. After the cutscene with Greez, you will make a new base at his bar, Pyloons Saloon.
Speak to the handful of people hanging around the bar to get a rumor called “Recruit the mysterious fisherman.” Head to the location shown on your map, and you will meet a strange but friendly character named Skoova Stev. After an introduction, he will agree to head to the Aquarium, get it up and running, and catch your first fish.
Where to Find Aquarium Fish
Now that you have a local fishing legend to man the Aquarium at Pyloons Saloon, you must fill it up with fish. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has 12 unique fish that have to be discovered. These fish are located across each planet in the game, and finding them can be tricky. While you’re out adventuring with Cal, keep an eye out for Skoova and his ship hovering over small bodies of water, like the image below. Make sure to jump into the water yourself, as each body of water has a chest with a cosmetic reward at the bottom.
When you find him, approach Skoova Stev and talk to him. He will continue his origin story, hop in the water, and catch the unique fish. You don’t need to jump in the water or do a fishing mini-game, just listen to his wild stories, and he will do the work for you. Find all 12 of these fish to fully repair the unlocked Aquarium in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
