Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 has a new set of challenges and events available at launch to keep us busy. But while the others are just simply about killing other players and moving around the map to open loot boxes, the Purgatory Island event is something way more annoying to complete. Unfortunately, the only way to unlock the Cloud Watching animated camo in Warzone and MW3 Season 6 is by completing the Purgatory Island challenges, which means you might just break your controller like I did when trying to get a kill with that goddamn Terriball.
What Is The Purgatory Island Challenge in Warzone Season 6?
The Purgatory Island is one of the main events of the Warzone Season 6, where you have to jump into the reskinned Rebirth Island and complete 8 challenges to unlock the Cloud Watching camo.
- Reach Torment Level 2.
- Spend 5 minutes outside the safe zone without killing another operator.
- Get 50 mercenary kills using the Terriball or while in a Vehicle.
- Commend 5 operators while in the safe zone.
- Get 5 operator kills while in a vehicle.
- Get 3 operator kills using the Terriball.
- Teleport 15 times using portals.
- Pilot the flying shipment.
Now while some of these challenges are straightforward and easy to discover and complete, some of them are the very definition of pain. Here are all the tips you need to complete all the objectives above and unlock the Cloud Watching camo in Warzone and MW3.
How To Reach Torment Level 2
The first challenge on the list is very easy. You can reach the Torment Level 2 by killing a bunch of zombies or mercenaries. These troops are marked with small dots on the map, so go give them a visit and kill them all.
Where Is The Safe Zone in Warzone Purgatory Island?
Once you’re in the lobby, you’ll realize that this game mode doesn’t play like a normal Battle Royale or Resurgence. There is no marked safe zone on the map, but there are two pink bubbles on Stronghold and Bioweapons; yes, these are the safe zones. So, in favor of campers, all you have to do is stay out of this bubble for 5 minutes and not kill any other enemy players. Exhausting! I know.
What Is A Terriball in Warzone Purgatory Island and How To Kill Players With It?
Terriball is the big red and orange ball you can find on the Warzone Purgatory Island map. This is where the pain starts. You can skip killing mercenaries with this ball because there’s the vehicle alternative, but the one with killing 3 enemy operators with Terriball is pure evil put in the game.
The Terriball moves when you hit or shoot it, and most times it won’t go directly as you plan. So, in other words, it’s nearly impossible to get a direct kill with it. However, the good thing is that you can just knock the opponent, interrogate them by holding Square/X so that they don’t give up and die, and then bring the Terriball to finish them.
However, even when you knock the enemies and try finishing them with the Terriball, other guys won’t let you complete your objective in Warzone Purgatory Island. The only way I could finish this challenge was via teaming up with the enemies and starting the game at the same time with my friend on another team so that we could knock each other out and finish the objective. Is Cloud Watching camo worth the honorable endeavor to actually get 3 kills with the Terriball in Warzone Purgatory Island? I’d say no.
How To Commend Players In Warzone Purgatory Island
Remember the bubbles/safe zones? Go inside them with your teammates or find an enemy inside. Then press the Square/X button beside them to commend the player. This gameplay mechanic has zero functionality and I have no idea why it is in the game. But anyway, you need to do it 5 times to unlock the Cloud Watching camo in Warzone and MW3.
How To Teleport in Warzone Purgatory Island
There are several portals marked by black mirror signs on the map in Warzone Purgatory Island. All you need to do is to walk through them 15 times, and you’ll complete the 7th objective for unlocking the Cloud Watching camo in Warzone and MW3.
How To Pilot The Flying Shipment
After a few minutes in the match, you’ll find an Octopus-looking sign on the Warzone Purgatory Island tac map. This is Shipment people. Yes! A variant of the Shipment map from the Multiplayer is here, flying above the Rebirth Island.
Now To pilot the flying Shipment in Warzone Purgatory Island, you need to land on it when you respawn and reach the top of the middle container. Here you can press Square/X and control the ship. Doing it once would checkmark the Cloud Watching camo challenge as complete in Warzone.
