While the Ishimura is no place for a fashionista, the monstrosities aboard the space vessel cannot stop players from decking Isaac out in the stylish Suits of the Dead Space Remake‘s Deluxe Edition. By purchasing this special edition of the game, players will receive the DS-08 Legacy Rig, the Lone Survivor Suit, the Infested Suit, the Venture Suit, the Bloody Suit, and the Sanctified Suit. The first four are new models that completely alter Isaac’s appearance. On the other hand, the Bloody Suit and Sanctified Suit are retextures of the default outfit that players without the Deluxe Edition will wear throughout the course of their adventure aboard the Ishimura.

Naturally, those who put in the extra investment to buy the remake’s Dead Space Deluxe or the Dead Space Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade DLC are likely eager to know how they can start adorning the protagonist in different attire. Unfortunately, patience is needed since costumes can only be swapped at the in-game Stores Isaac encounters while exploring the Ishimura.

Players will not gain access to the Store aboard the Ishimura until they have progressed at least 45 minutes to an hour in the game. Of course, those who take the time to soak in the atmosphere or thoroughly explore every nook and cranny will take longer to reach the point at which Isaac encounters the first shop. The exact point players can find the Store is when the protagonist gains access to the Medical Deck during Chapter 2: Intensive Care. Players will know they are near this point in the story when they are tasked with restoring a tram for transportation.

After finding the Store’s terminal, players must step up the interface and confirm with their controller or keyboard to activate and open the shop. Dead Space Remake players must then navigate to the Storage tab to see their selection of Deluxe Edition Suits. To switch to one of the suits, simply choose the outfit and wait for Isaac to finish changing inside the sci-fi wardrobe-like device. Unfortunately, the suits are for show only, meaning that they do not provide any gameplay advantages.

The Dead Space Remake is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
