While Emma and Koo will do most of their adventure in the blighted lands of Beast of Reincarnation, the Cleanse Walker, which is what your mobile base is called, will play a pivotal role when it comes to improving your gear, cooking meals, and even learning about other characters in the story. With so many things you can do in it and a few locked behind certain levels, here we’ll tell you how you can upgrade your Cleanse Walker in Beast of Reincarnation.
Upgrading Your Cleanse Walker in Beast of Reincarnation
Throughout your journeys, you may have noticed Emma and Koo picking up a few skull-shaped items that have different colors, going from blue, green, and yellow. These devices are the items you will need to upgrade your Cleanse Walker in Beast of Reincarnation.
First, you’ll have to obtain the above devices by exploring or by waiting for Koo to bring them to you. The easiest way to find some of these is by opening strongboxes or looting important items, which Koo will mark on the map.
Once you have some of these objects, you’ll have to return to the Cleanse Walker, and your base will automatically upgrade as soon as you enter, but only if you have the required amount of devices. For instance, most upgrades require you to bring five of a colored device. If you don’t have enough, just keep exploring until the bar fills up.
The reason why upgrading your base is so important is that some functions are locked behind upgrade levels. For example, you’ll need to get your blue base’s level to 5 if you want to upgrade your weapons to their maximum stage. Some cooking recipes also require you to bring yellow skulls, and so on.
Lastly, while some of these items are tucked away in some hidden spots around the map, you’ll come across some of them just by playing the main story. Also, Koo will eventually bring you items, which you can receive by pressing down on the D-pad when the prompt becomes available, of course. While not the fastest way, it is nice to see Koo doing his best to upgrade the base, too.
