Want to know how to use Mounts in Star Wars Jedi Survivor? With every year and a new game in the series, the world of Star Wars is getting bigger. You can travel to unique planets and locations, immersing yourself more and more in the history of the legendary saga. Star Wars Jedi Survivor is no exception, offering players a vast open world. In the previous game in the series, many players complained about too long travel between locations. So in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, the developers not only improved Fast Travel but also allowed players to tame and use mounts, and today we will tell you how it works.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor: How To Use All Mounts

First, it is worth noting what mounts are in Star Wars Jedi Survivor and how important they are for passing the game. These creatures are an integral plot part, as you cannot complete many plot stages without their help. For example, you won’t be able to jump onto a high ledge without Nekko or quickly and safely down a mountain without Relter’s help.

The first mount you can tame and use is Relter. To do this, you must progress through the story until you reach the planet Koboh and wander into the forest thickets. Soon after, you will encounter Relter for the first time and be able to tame it (you will be able to tame all the mounts during the story quests and won’t miss any of them). You will see a short cutscene in which Cal learns how to tame creatures, after which you will unlock the Tame skill.

To tame the mount in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, slowly approach it and press the appropriate button depending on your device (you will see a prompt on the screen). If you want to call the mount later, you must press R1, RB, or Ctrl, after which it will immediately come to your aid. The game has three creatures you can tame and use as you progress through the game and several mounts that will appear in the game for a short time. And we will tell you how to use them all below.

Relter

As we said earlier, Relter is a flying mount and the first one you tame as you progress through the story. It would be more accurate to say that he does not fly but plans from a height. Controlling this creature is hard, and you won’t use it too often. The nature of its flight (the need to jump off a high cliff) limits the areas where you can use it.

Nekko

A fast bird-like creature will become your most faithful companion. It is the only creature you can use almost everywhere as you progress through the game. You can overcome long distances faster or climb steep slopes using this mount. Additionally, you can use an impromptu double jump using Nekko. Thanks to this, you can jump onto higher platforms and ledges.

Spamel

The long-legged creature with the horse body and the snake head will be an excellent mount for exploring desert locations. You can use it as a regular mount for a comfortable and fast travel world. But you can also use his back to climb to higher points.

Other Mounts

As for other mounts, some unique and rare mounts can be available during stories and side quests. So you can ride fast Speeders or a couple of high-tech vehicles for a while. But, all this can hardly be called full-fledged mounts.
