Lethal Company came out of nowhere, and players loved it from the start. In this scavenging co-op game, players can purchase and get various tools and weapons using credits. Zap Gun is one of these weapons players can purchase, but using it can be confusing and challenging. So here is how you can use Zap Gun to electrify enemies without frying yourself in the process.

How to Get Zap Gun in Lethal Company

In Lethal Company the primary way to purchase any tool or weapon is using the Terminal inside the ship. Each weapon requires a different amount of credits, and in the case of the Zap Gun, you have to spend 400 Credits to purchase it. So start scavenging even more to get more scrap to sell.

Technically, if you can wait until the last day, Day Zero, you will sell your loot for a better price. But to reach this day, there should be at least one other player with you. So if you are playing solo, just sell your loot whenever you can.

Once you have enough credits, go near the Terminal and press E to interact with it. Type Store, Zap Gun, and Confirm to finalize your purchase. The next time you visit the Moon, the Zap Gun can be picked up from the store drop pod.

The Zap Gun uses a battery to shoot electrical charge toward enemies. If you run out of battery, you can recharge it at the Recharge Station of the ship. To use the gun, you must hold the fire button to keep the weapon shooting its beam. Controlling it is tricky since the weapon will start shaking the moment it hits the enemy.

The best way to control it is to move the mouse side to side in the opposite direction of the beam. For instance, if the beam is leaning towards the left side, move the mouse to the right and vice versa. However, the weapon has issues in its build that will be fixed in the next update. Unless you want to test it for yourself, waiting for the update to be released and fixing this issue is best.
