Combat in Spider-Man 2 can get overwhelming quite quickly. In this entry, there are many more enemies our heroes must face, and tackling them all can be tricky. Thankfully, our friendly neighbors have many gadgets and abilities you can use to keep some of these foes at bay. One is the web-up ability that lets you stun your enemies or even take them out in Spider-Man 2. If you want to know how to use this function, we’ve prepared a guide to help you keep those pesky villains away with your handy webs.

To web-up enemies in Spider-Man 2, you must do the same as in the first entries of the series. If you didn’t play any, though, here are the steps:

  1. Select the Web-Shooters gadget by holding R1.
  2. Aim at an enemy and tap R1 repeatedly.
  3. If the enemy is next to a wall, it’ll stick to it after the final shot.
  4. If the enemy is far from a wall, web them up first and then throw them against the wall or any other surface.

As you can see, the process is similar to that of the first games. While many people stick to the standard punch and kick combos, using gadgets like the Web-Shooters is better, especially in harder difficulties.
