Tropico is quickly lamenting itself as one of the best strategical city-building series out there. There’s so much to love about it, from its divisive paths in city leadership to the setpieces it can provide. If you’re looking for a game with some of the best strategical decisions you can find, Tropico is the place to go. The team over at Humble Bundle is a big fan of the series as well if their newest bundle is anything to go off of. The Humble Totally Tropico Bundle is now available, offering several tiers of political city-building at affordable prices.

The first tier, set at $1, brings you a compilation of the first few Tropico games known as Tropico Reloaded. These may be in a more aged state, but they’re classics amongst strategy fans. If you’re unlike me and can handle much older graphics, they can give hours of fun. You also get Tropico 3 which is the title that cemented the series as what it is today, ditching the older 2D look for cleaner 3D models.

Tier two, set at a reasonable $8, gives you the third game’s Absolute Power DLC along with Tropico 4 and much of its DLC. The Absolute Power DLC brings a new campaign and several missions, adding on to the hours of fun. The fourth mainline game in the series is solid too, bringing about many hours with its DLCs and regular game content. With a 91% approval rating on Steam, the fourth game proves to be a masterpiece among a series of masterpieces. To create a great sequel is an achievement in and of itself, especially compared to other series.

The final tier, set at just $12, brings the remaining fourth game’s DLC, Tropico 5, and much of that game’s DLC as well. Needless to say, there’s more DLC than I’d be willing to count among all three tiers here. Thankfully, the vast majority of it is of high quality and should provide many more hours of fun. That’s not to even mention Tropico 5, which is only one game behind the latest title in the franchise. One has to wonder when we’ll get to see the inevitable Tropico 7.

That’s all three tiers on offer for the Humble Totally Tropico Bundle. With hundreds of hours across all three tiers, strategy city-building fans should consider $12 a steal. If you’ve played any of these titles yourself, be sure to let us know. This bundle is available from today until September 29th. Stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
