She decided to serve herself at a Forest Park Church’s Chicken. The incident allegedly began because she was frustrated about having to wait for her order. Unwilling to wait any longer, she simply walked behind the counter and started helping herself. With her baby balanced on one arm, the woman grabbed a pair of tongs and began picking up pieces of chicken as if she worked there.
Another customer who was inside the restaurant at the time quickly pulled out her phone to record what was happening. Despite being watched by several people, the Georgia mother showed no hint of embarrassment or hesitation. Even a drive-through worker nearby could be seen watching as she continued to take food from the trays.
Once she had filled her box with chicken, she left the restaurant without saying anything, and the recording ended there. Although she managed to walk away without being stopped in the moment, it was later reported that police apprehended her for what she did. After all, customers are not allowed to walk behind the counter and serve themselves in a fast-food kitchen.
