I Am Setsuna looks to be a great homage to JRPG masterpieces of yesteryear

Good news for RPG fans today as Tokyo RPG Factory’s debut title I am Setsuna received its first gameplay trailer. If you are unfamiliar with the game, it’s the first project to be released by Tokyo RPG Factory, a new studio within Square Enix. I am Setsuna looks to recapture the glory of classic RPGs with a battle system directly inspired by the legendary Chrono Trigger. Take a look at the trailer below.

About the Game:

“I Am Setsuna is the sorrowful story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible inner strength, and the sacrifice she must undertake to the save the people of her land. As Setsuna leaves with her two bodyguards for the farthest lands, players will be immersed in an emotional and unforgettable story of true bravery.”

I Am Setsuna will be available digitally on the PlayStation 4 and Steam on July 19th in North America and will be priced at $39.99.  Those interested can pre-order now on Steam to receive a special music track from the composer, Tomoki Miyoshi.
