It doesn’t matter whether you’re a fan of skateboarding or not; skate games are fun. There’s nothing better than the sweet release of jumping dangerously engineered ramps and smashing every bone in your body that you get from a Skate game. How can you NOT think that seeing your skeleton bending in inhuman ways is fun? I mean, I surely do. After nearly 15 years since the launch of Skate 3, fans will enjoy the Early Access launch of the newest installment, skate., in 2025 and a console playtest in 2024.
In 2022, EA announced the fourth Skate game and the new studio behind it, Full Circle. The team is comprised of famous names in the franchise’s history, including Deran Chung and Cuz Parry, the original Skate game creators. Between then and now, nothing new has been announced, but it seems like that was intentional while they waited to make this announcement.
The announcement was made via a 20-second trailer, showing off a few features that we can most likely expect from the launch. We see several customized player avatars surrounding the player as he skates through and around them in sunny San Vansterdam. There are also a few instances where ramps randomly appear, giving the impression that players can control ramp and rail placements at will.
In the Tweet announcing Skate.’s Early Access, the social media team replied to a user, announcing that skate. Console playtests will occur in the fall of 2024. While some users might not be happy about the game’s push to 2025, I’m definitely among those interested in participating in the skate. playtest. Those who sign up and are accepted can expect the playtesting to occur on PC and mobile.
There are only so many games where I go out of my way to break as many bones as possible, and the Skate franchise fill that entire roster. It’s exciting to know that I’ll be able to absolutely obliterate my body in completely new and improved ways when the skate. Early Access begins.
