ICE Agents in Oregon Illegally Enter Residence & Kidnap Hispanic Occupants: ‘Unconstitutional for So Many Reasons’

What ever happened to due process?

A disturbing video has sparked widespread outrage after appearing to show ICE agents forcibly breaking into a family’s home in Portland, Oregon. The footage, reportedly first posted on TikTok before being reuploaded to Reddit and Instagram, captures heavily armed agents smashing through a bedroom door and shouting commands at the home’s occupants while a baby can be heard crying in the background.

The video then cuts to a second clip showing the aftermath. The home appears ransacked: doors are splintered, furniture is overturned, and belongings are scattered. According to the Reddit post that helped amplify the footage, all of the male members of the family were taken away by the agents. The poster claimed the raid was conducted “illegally” and “without a warrant,” describing the event as a “terrorizing” act that left the family in shock.

Thankfully, over on TikTok, one comment reads “this is my cousin’s family and my cousin and her baby are okay🥹🥹💔,” suggesting the family are at least ok after the terrifying ordeal.

Commenters described the video as “unconstitutional” and “tyrannical,” drawing comparisons to authoritarian regimes. Others echoed the sentiment, calling the footage evidence of “Gestapo tactics” and a “violation of everything this country claims to stand for.”

On Instagram, viewers expressed grief and disbelief. “The baby crying 💔💔💔,” one user wrote, while another said, “Imagine watching this and thinking, great job.” Many questioned the legality of the operation, asking how such an entry could occur without a warrant or judicial oversight. Others raised concerns about accountability, pointing out that ICE typically waits outside residences or follows targets over time rather than conducting violent forced entries.

At the time of writing, there has been no official statement from ICE or local authorities that I can find confirming the circumstances of the raid or the status of those detained. Without that information, it remains unclear whether this was a lawful operation, a case of mistaken identity, or a procedural failure. Still, the emotional impact of the video is undeniable; the sound of a crying infant and the sight of a shattered home symbolize an erosion of civil rights and due process in the U.S. since these ICE raids escalated in frequency.
