The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many issues around the world, including in the gaming industry. Among cancellations, delays, and layoffs, much of the news coming out of it has been harsh for developers and players. The Gamescom staff aren’t letting COVID-19 stop them though, as they’re featuring many announcements from August 27th through August 29th. This is all thanks to a partnership with the Summer Game Fest, hosted by Geoff Keighley. Iceberg Interactive is one such company, joining the list of publishers and developers announcing things over the three days.

Iceberg Interactive

The team calls this “Iceberg Ahead“, featuring several announcements, demos, and trailers over the three days. This all culminates on August 29th with a special broadcast at 9:30 AM EDT, looking at their biggest announcements of the show. It’ll be an exciting time and is worth checking out over on their Twitch or YouTube channels. Iceberg Interactive promises reveals for Transient, Blazing Sails, Radical Relocation, Interstellar Rift, Lunacy: Saint Rhodes, and more! I’m excited about news on Blazing Sails and Radical Relocation. Fall Guys has shown me that unique battle royales can be great, so Blazing Sails has a lot of potential in my eyes. Radical Relocation focuses more on physics-based puzzles, which already has my attention.

If you can’t tune into the broadcast, no need to worry. Iceberg Interactive will be tweeting about the news over on their Twitter page (@Iceberg_Int). You can also join others live over on their official Discord, with the ability to ask the publisher various questions. It may be worth joining if there’s anything you want to know about the upcoming titles.

This is all exciting news for both Iceberg Interactive and us as players. More indie games filled with passion and charm is never a bad thing, so I can’t wait to see what they have to show us. I’d love to hear your thoughts though. Will Iceberg Interactive deliver some exciting announcements? How do those announced games look to you? Let us know, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
